Explore the AI tools Deloitte Legal is developing and implementing

On November 23, during our Artificial Original event, Deloitte Legal has proudly presented how we are using and implementing AI in our legal services. We have showcased three of our AI toolings, please find details below.

• Legal Rover
  An AI powered assistant that reads legal documents and answers questions in legal context.
  Legal Rover enables “chatting” with provided legal documents, it quickly answers questions and refers to the place in the documents where the answer was found. Thus it finds parts relevant for your specific case and identifies possible impact. 
  

• Clause
  An AI based contract analysis tool.
  Clause is a system that evaluates on the basis of a contract & situation description whether a person meets the contractor (ZZP) criteria and indicates where any risk factors lie. Using Clause it will be possible to identify risk factors for all classification criteria allowing us to generate risk based contract insights for our clients at scale.
  
  
• Policy House Patrol
  A mature Generative AI powered policy chatbot that supports legal practitioners in search activities.
  As part of their day-to-day work, legal practitioners and their supporting staff need to search legal documents to find answers to questions regarding internal legal concerns (think of AML Policies, Standards and Guidance documentation, Remuneration Policies, Compliance Charters or working instructions). An inefficient and effortful and therefore cumbersome process for current and future employees. 
  The legal policy chatbot can help legal practitioners find relevant information from a knowledge base of legal documents, interact in the form of a virtual assistant, retrieve source documents based on the user question, provide answers based on the selected documents and many more.
