Webinar details

Date: Monday, 17 November 2025
Time: 16:00 – 16.45 (CEST)
Location: Online

This webinar concludes our 2025 TNFD NL Working Group project for Dutch financial institutions, formed after the TNFD’s discussion paper on nature transition plans was published. Transition planning offers organisations a coherent, structured approach to managing their responses and contributions in line with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF). As ecosystems decline, nature-related risks increase, but organisations face pressure to manage these risks strategically and effectively.

WWF-NL, the Sustainable Finance Lab, Deloitte Netherlands, and Dutch financial institutions collaborated to explore challenges and create a collective understanding  of Nature Transition Plans. Combining academic expertise and industry insights, we have explored practical steps. On 17 November, we will introduce the key elements of a Nature Transition Plan, share key expectations from the TNFD guidance, and highlight insights and lessons learned from the working group and its members.
