In a new edition of its "Future of TMT" study series, Deloitte has again drawn up four extreme but plausible future scenarios for the year 2030. These scenarios show that the future of screens takes place in the area of conflict between two questions: Will screens soon be used everywhere or highly individually? And are functional apps or entertainment services the key drivers of screen usage? It becomes clear that handling of data is a major determining factor for the "Future of Screens". Open ecosystems can make the screen the central user interface. And consumers must definitely be involved in the development of innovative screen technologies.
