Hedge accounting in itself is a complex topic. When combining the accounting and tax legislation it because even more interesting. Given the increased importance of correct tax accounting due to new legislation (e.g. Pillar II), we feel it’s the right time to bring together people from both industry as well as advisory to discuss this complex topic.
On November 30, Deloitte Tax and Audit Advisory will organize a joint round table on hedge accounting. During the round table we will touch upon the IFRS rules around hedge accounting, as well as the tax technical consequences and lastly will cover the tax accounting impact of the interaction of the first two topics.
We aim for an interactive session between the attendees and the facilitators. Deloitte will involve experts on the accounting, tax law as well as tax accounting. A presentation will be prepared to touch upon various topics around hedge accounting and to start the discussion.
This session is intended to assist tax managers, (tax) accountants and hedge accounting enthusiasts in gaining further insight in the interaction between tax and (tax) accounting in the area of hedge accounting.
Lastly and not unimportant, at the end of this session we will facilitate drinks to continue the discussion on this interesting topic.
When: November 30th
Time: 15:00 - 18:00 (20:00 including drinks)
