Growing interest in ESG factors is reshaping business strategies to embrace responsible practices. Aside from the attention for increasing ESG reporting obligations and adoption of a tsunami of new regulations, more and more attention is given to related ESG integrity risks. Topics like Greenwashing, Green-hushing, Blue-washing, fraudulent reporting, non-compliance risks as well as (criminal and civil) liability risks are frequently debated with one common denominator and understanding: the risk of regulatory enforcement actions and shareholder and civil lawsuits will increase.
During this event we will explore what the role of the Chief Legal Officers is in the area of ESG Integrity.
