We are excited to announce the 7th edition of Deloitte's TaxLab on 16 September 2021 at DeFrabrique, Westkanaaldijk 7, 3542 DA Utrecht.

Sustainability: What can tax & legal contribute
TaxLab’s theme for this year is focused on sustainability. The ESG (Environmental, Social and corporate Governance) criteria are becoming more and more of importance for companies to create business value, accompanied with new challenges from a tax & legal perspective. In addition, companies are faced with an increase in reporting obligations, for example, the recently published Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (“CSRD”). Following the CSRD, companies will have a reporting obligation with respect to sustainability as per 2023. During TaxLab 2021 we will share real life stories and update you on the latest developments in the field of sustainability inspiring you to make a contribution that lasts.

The sustainable sense of urgency is getting higher, time to step up!

• Followed by a panel discussion with Jacques Buith, Jeroen Smit, Patrick van Min and Helene Geijtenbeek

• 13.45 - 14.00: Break (change seating into break-out rooms)
• 14.00 - 14.45: Focus sessions (part 1)
• 14.45 - 15.00: Break (change seating back to plenary room)
• 15.00 - 15.50: Plenary TedTalk with:
• Lara Muller
• Followed by a client panel discussion on sustainability led by Victor Vlam

• 15.50 - 16.00: Break (change seating into break-out rooms)
• 16.00 - 16.45: Focus sessions (part 2)
• 16.45 - 17.00: Break (change seating back to plenary room)
• 17.00 - 17.30: Plenary closing by Victor Vlam
• 17.30 - 19.30: Drinks & Networking

We are committed to providing a safe environment in close cooperation with the event location(s). All of our services are carried out in accordance with the applicable measures as determined by RIVM. The number of participants is limited, taking into account the capacity of the rooms so that keeping sufficient distance (minimum of 1.5 meters) is guaranteed. Participants of the event are requested to adhere to the prescribed hygiene measures at site. Also, we request you to stay home if you have a cold and/or when members of your household have a fever.
